Love and Marriage for second time- via old Bhutanese lens

On recurring disputes and misunderstandings between the couple, they finally came to consciences of mutual divorce after 17 years of their marriage. With three beautiful children, the eldest one resembling more of Karsel (father), the second child taking the exact form of beautiful Yangchen (mom) and the youngest one with the cheeks and mouth of a father and with the body figure of her beautiful mother with little cute squinting eyes. The god served a justice in inheriting the features of the parents equally in their three beautiful progenies. Both the parents have no point in doubting the loyal and trust in eachother through the mask and features of their children.
Love knows not age bound
Being the sole bread-earner in the family, Yangchen struggles to meet the expenses of her three school going Cheycheys. Their long gone father finds a beautiful note in the new page of his life. Not even a single penny has been received from him as agreed before upon legal agreement. She too does not bother of that (maybe she loves him still that she does not want to trouble him).
“Yangchen…why don’t you go for a second marriage?” and the lady friend of her continues with her raised eyebrows “But don’t ever think of marrying a guy younger than you, because he would make you regret afterwards like your ex-hubby”. Yangchen nods her head to the precautious caution of her friend whom she trusts to be a most sought-after woman in such womanly affairs. Upon meeting a young guy who fell for her at the very first sight, she knew that love knows no age bound. Still then she could not think of marrying him for he is only few years elder to her eldest daughter.
Unlike in other countries, Bhutan does find not many of re-marrying after divorce or decease spouse. Most of the time women are left behind widowed rest of her life, handicapped by the social stigmas-remarriage would mean unfaithful and lustful. For these reasons, women refuse to marry again and struggles rest of her life silently.
Finding her much younger second love, she tries to combat the age old stigma of marrying again. She timidly asks her trusted friends and elders for the suggestions. Yet, to her dismay the answers remained same, which is a “BIG NO”. She blushes and burning sensation all over her body every time would cause her a depression. She has enough to educate her children, she has enough to sustain her family and she has everything to keep her family alive. Yet, to complete a perfect circle of her life she suffers short of a small string of love. Thus, she breaks through the social bars and proves it wrong.
Now she feels complete with her second spouse and a son in between. Surprisingly, the son too takes the maximum features of Yangchen (maybe she did a major role in the process of manufacture...hahaha). Rabgyel loves her very much despite their large age gap and they form a complete family. He treats all four children equally and gives them a love eternally. If he gives his son an omelet, he does not feed rest of the children with hot spicy chilli (that happens only in movie). Love knows no age bound. As I complete this story of Yangchen, I pray that all women find their second love more loving, caring and a responsible husband. May widow be a word reflected only in dictionary.
