Lost in Love

I know not how to while away me leisure time,

For entire day I think of you, how to make you mine.

To take you on holiday to some faraway fairy land,

Where there is always peace and enough sunshine,

Where soft breezes we can stroll hand in hand,

Where I’d as never before squeeze you firm and tight,

Whisper words of love and promise never to leave you.

I I’d kiss you a thousand times your eyes so deep and balmy,

Promise to kiss away one by one all your grief and pain.

No one to tell us we can’t kiss or touch,

I don’t just tell you "I love you"-I show you how much.

Off we go, find a shade underneath a fine forest tree,

Where my head can rest on your shoulder freely,

Like a lark in the sky now here, now there, everywhere,

In the sweet comfort of your tender care and love,

My heart is rejoicing like never before without scarce,

Like a school girl falling in love for the first time.

Better to have loved and lost than not to have loved at all. If we have this attitude we can hold ourselves together during the hard times and rejoice that we have this awesome gift during the good times.
